The new FHNW Campus Muttenz with its five Universities of Applied Sciences will start the regular activities on September 17, 2018. Around 3’700 students and 800 employees will study, research and work in the new building at the railway station of Muttenz (BL). On the 3rd floor of the new building, the so-called Beletage, the new library has found its place: FHNW-CMU (Muttenz), E44: https://www.fhnw.ch/de/die-fhnw/bibliotheken/bibliothek-muttenz. It is the product of the merger of the following five FHNW-libraries:
- E44, Hochschulbibliothek Muttenz
- N01, Bibliothek Pädagogik ISEK, Basel
- N02, Bibliothek Pädagogik ISP, Basel
- N03, Bibliothek Pädagogik, Liestal
- N10, Bibliothek Soziale Arbeit, Basel
The collection of the new Campus Muttenz library includes over 100’000 books, mainly specialized literature on the specialities of the Universities of Applied Sciences located in Muttenz: Architecture, Construction and Geomatics, Life Sciences, Education, Social Work and Technology.
